Elizabeth Jane Hurley, an English model and actress, who was known in the late 90s for being Hugh Grant's lover and a former English model. Hurley was immediately noticed by the media during 1994, as Grant gained worldwide attention for the success in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral. Hurley accompanied Grant at the Los Angeles premiere of the film in the Versace gown that was secured with gold safetypins. Her association in the company of Estee Lauder has been the major highlight of her career. Hurley got her first modeling job with the company when she was just 29 years old. The company has since utilized Hurley as a brand model particularly for perfumes including Sensuous Intuitions as well as Pleasures. Her most famous film work was when she played Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers the hit spy comedy International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley has been a model for and creates his own beachwear collection. This song sparked controversy, and some critics accused it of promoting the same-sex relationship and others claiming that the sexually explicit scene was created to cater to male fantasies. However, the mix of polished and titillating melody contributed to the fact that I Kissed a Girl become an instant hit in multiple countries powering sales for her album One of the Boys (2008). The sharp and bouncey second track was extremely popular. The album Perry created in large portion sold over three million copies.
